KSTU is joining the EU project “KalEdu”
In the current year our University has joined educational project of European Union “Support and Development of Business and Administrative higher Education in Kaliningrad region – KalEdu”. The project is directed to further integration of the Russian enclave region to the Western economy. Professor of Savoi’s University (France), doctor of economic sciences Eric Bruna, the famous expert on Russia, has been appointed the project’s manager. “This is a positive fact in the University’s life”,-comments Professor O.A. Mezenova, a member of the project’s group. The main project’s aims are introduction of modern forms of education to Kaliningrad region in the sphere of business and management for government bodies, managers of firms and enterprises. In created geopolitical situation Kaliningrad has been chosen by Brussels for the project’s realization not by chance. It has been assigned a part of a distinctive centre of interaction of social and economic spheres of Russia and Europe. The present project is the first serious step on this way. It helps to prepare effective and thinking managers. For the first time education will be conducted on so called integrated cross-module program “MBA/MPA”, it presents a complex of educational modules crossing at the key points: economic development, management by chains of values, management of service sector, transport and logistic, strategy of municipal reforms, and reforms of management. And first, the project’s participants are seven Kaliningrad leading institutes of higher education and also Moscow Academy of National Economy attached to the Government of Russia Federation, European experts from France, Great Britain and Lithuania. At the end of March the 1st seminar was organized the at Russian State University for project’s collective body, the authors of this program where created modules of agreement of different forms and methods of studies’ conducting were presented.
