COURSE OF RUSSIAN FOR BEGINNERS
Semester: Autumn or Spring (or during 10 months)
Hours: 350-450 (or 750)
Staff: leading specialists of the Russian Language Department of the Kaliningrad State Technical University
Starting level: zero
Aims and tasks of the course: teaching main types of language activity - speaking, reading, listening comprehension, writing; forming pronunciation habits, grammar competence with practical application; developing communicative skills for typical situations
Contents of the course:
1. Graphics. Phonetics. Orthoephy.
2. Fundamentals of practical Russian grammar.
3. Developing skills in oral speech (monologue and dialogue)
Forms of study: practical classes, educational excursions, usage of video-, audio-tapes, slides
Control methods: Test in grammar, test in grammar and vocabulary, oral speech on a certain topic, essay
