General rules for submitting and considering appeals

  1. An applicant (proxy) has the right to appeal to the Appeals Commission about the violation, in the applicant's opinion, of the established procedure for conducting an entrance examination or about disagreement with the received assessment of the entrance examination results.
  2. The appeal should be submitted in one of the ways specified in subparagraph 3.8 of the Rules.
  3. During consideration of the appeal, compliance with the established procedure for conducting the entrance examination and the correctness of the entrance examination results assessment shall be verified.
  4. An appeal must be filed on the day of announcing the entrance examination results or within the next working day. An appeal about the violation of the established procedure for conducting the entrance examination may also be filed on the day of the entrance examination.
  5. The appeal is considered no later than the next working day after the day of its submission.
  6. An applicant (proxy) has the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal.
  7. After considering the appeal, the Appeals Commission decides to change the assessment of the entrance examination results or leave the said assessment unchanged.
    The decision of the Appeals Commission documented in the protocol is brought to the attention of the applicant (proxy). The applicant's (proxy's) familiarisation with the decision of the Appeals Commission is certified by the applicant's (proxy's) signature.
  8. In the case of conducting an entrance examination remotely, the university provides remote consideration of appeals.
