International office

KSTU has been admitting foreign students for over 50 years. More than 1,500 graduates are overseas students from Africa, Europe, Latin America and Middle East.

KSTU is an internationally recognized research university that cultivates global culture. This also includes providing its students with the opportunity to go on with their education at universities in other countries.

KSTU supports researchers in global research, we assist talented individuals from abroad who want to study at KSTU or implement their scientific ideas here.

Our International Office both at KSTU and Baltic State Academy supports incoming students and researchers. At the same time, it offers advice and assistance for researchers and students planning to study abroad.

Our friendly staff speaks English, German and French, so we can answer questions and provide resources or information during your stay at the university.

We keep saying that students’ mobility boosts career opportunities due to getting new experiences, making discoveries and broadening one’s mind. Student’s mobility includes:

KSTU is primarily interested in an optimal study experience for its students. The University maintains numerous relationships with foreign universities for academic mobility.

Every year the University participates in 10-15 international projects and programs, conferences and seminars, practical training, training of 150-200 lecturers, graduate and post-graduate students. Today there are about 250 foreign students in the University.

Academic and scientific contacts have been established with European, Asian, North American and South American universities. Strong cooperation with the Baltic States such as Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden promotes good neighborly relationship and cultural ties between the countries.
