IAEFS students performed ultrasound examinations on pets

Veterinary practice is not just a part of the educational process, it is an important step towards understanding the details of working with animals, from disease diagnosis to treatment. In this context, BaltikVet, a training and practical centre at the Department of Production and Quality Expertise of Agricultural Products of IAEFS (Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Food Systems), helps students acquire the necessary practical skills.

BaltikVet holds classes on the study of clinical methods of animal research using modern equipment. On March 19, students, under the guidance of experienced specialists, carried out ultrasound examinations of pets and were present at the operation (ovariohysterectomy was performed).

Such classes help students acquire the competencies needed for their future professions.
