KSTU representative took part in international scientific-practical conference

From March 19 to 21, 2024, at Saint-Petersburg State Agrarian University (FSBEI HE SPb SAU), an international scientific-practical conference of young scientists and students, Intellectual Potential of Young Scientists as a Driver of Agro-Industrial Complex Development, was held. It was dedicated to the celebration of the 120th anniversary of FSBEI HE SPb SAU. The plenary session of the conference gathered leading young scientists, representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists and Specialists and Student Research Societies of the universities to discuss topical issues on priority directions of science development in the field of agriculture and the involvement of young scientists in research and innovation projects.

The representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists and Specialists and Student Research Societies were invited to the round table discussion Innovative Solutions of Young Scientists for Agro-Industrial Complex following the plenary session. The main purpose of the round table was to share the work experience of the Councils of Young Scientists and Specialists and the development of youth science at the university level.

During the round table meeting, the councils` representatives shared the most successful practices of scientific youth policy implementation in their organisations, discussed the main problems arising in the process of their activity, identified the most relevant approaches to stimulate the scientific growth of young scientists.

Participating in the round table discussion was research engineer K. V. Konovalova from KSTU, who brought up the subject of student scientific mentoring.

After the round table, the participants were given a tour of the university. The guests learnt about the history of the university.
