Reporting on the first few weeks of the practical training on the Kruzenshtern
On 16 July, the sailing ship set sail on her first voyage of the 2026 navigation season. About 140 cadets from the BFFSA, KMFC, SPbMFC and KSMTU are undertaking their practical training on board.
The voyage is taking place in the waters of the Gulf of Gdansk and the Baltic Sea. As reported on July 31, they had covered a total of 425.3 nautical miles, including 227.2 nautical miles under engine power, 89.4 nautical miles under engine power and sails, 20.8 nautical miles under sails, and 87.9 nautical miles adrift.
The deck crew, together with cadets, carried out six setting sail drills.
