Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) establishes the rules of using personal information received from users of the site (hereinafter referred to as Users) by the site administrator (https://klgtu.ru/) (hereinafter referred to as FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’). This Privacy Policy applies to all Users of the Site. All terms and definitions used in the text of the Policy shall be interpreted in compliance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation (in particular, Federal Law № 152, ‘On Personal Data’.) Users shall expressly consent to the processing of their personal data as described in this Policy. Using the Site means the User's expression of unconditional consent to the Policy and the specified conditions of information processing.

1. Personal information of Users processed by FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’

• 1.1. The site collects, accesses and uses for the purposes defined in the Policy personal data of Users, technical and other information related to Users.
• 1.2. Technical information is not personal data. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ uses cookies that allow to identify the User. Cookies are text files available to FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ to process information about the User's activity, including information about which pages the User visited and the time the User spent on the page. The User may disable the use of cookies in the browser settings.
• 1.3. Technical information also means information that is automatically transmitted to FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ in the process of using the Site using the software installed on the User's device.
• 1.4. The User's personal data means the information that the User provides to FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ when filling out the electronic form on the Site. The information mandatory for provision to FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ is marked in a special way. Other information is provided by the User at his/her discretion.
• 1.5. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ may also process data made publicly available by the subject of personal data or subject to publication or mandatory disclosure in accordance with the law.
• 1.6. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ does not verify the accuracy of personal information provided by the User, and has no opportunity to assess the User's legal capacity. However, FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ assumes that the User provides reliable and sufficient personal information about him/herself and keeps this information up to date.

2. Purposes of processing personal information of Users

• 2.1. The main purpose of FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ when collecting personal data is to provide information and consulting services to Users. Users agree that FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ may also use their personal data for:
  • Identification of the party within the framework of the services provided;
  • Provision of services and customer support at the request of Users;
  • Improving the quality of services, usability, design and development of the Website, eliminating technical or security problems;
  • Analysing to expand and improve services, information content;
  • Informing Users about services, targeted marketing, service updates;
  • Carrying out statistical and other studies based on anonymised data.
• 2.2. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ uses technical information anonymised for the purposes specified in clause 2.1.

3. Conditions and methods of processing Users' personal information and its transfer to third parties

• 3.1. The User consents to the processing of their personal data by sending an application (any request containing contact details).
• 3.2. Processing of the User's personal data means collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (update, change), use, transfer, blocking, deletion, destruction of the User's personal data.
  
• 3.3. The User's personal information shall be kept confidential, except for cases when the User voluntarily provides information about himself/herself for public access to an unlimited number of persons.
  
• 3.4. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ has the right to transfer the User's personal information to third parties in the following cases:
  • • The User has expressed consent to such actions;
  • • Transfer is necessary for the User's use of a certain service of the Site or for the fulfilment of a certain contract or agreement with the User;
  • • Transfer to authorised state authorities of the Russian Federation on the grounds and in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation;
  • • In order to ensure the possibility of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ or third parties in cases where the User violates the terms of contracts and agreements with FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’, this Policy, or documents containing the terms of use of specific services;
  • • As a result of processing the User's personal information by depersonalising it, anonymised statistical data is obtained, which is transferred to a third party to conduct research, perform work or provide services on behalf of FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’.

4. Measures used to protect the User's personal information

• 4.1. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ takes necessary and sufficient legal, organisational and technical measures to protect the User's personal information from illegal or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other illegal actions with it by third parties.

5. Dispute Resolution

• 5.1. All possible disputes arising out of the relations governed by this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of the Russian Federation, in accordance with the rules of Russian law.
• 5.2. Compliance with the pre-trial (claim) dispute settlement procedure is mandatory.

6. Additional terms and conditions

• 6.1. FSBEI HE ‘KSTU’ has the right to amend this Privacy Policy without the User's consent.
• 6.2. The new Privacy Policy comes into force from the moment of its posting, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Privacy Policy.
• 6.3. Continued use of the Site after such changes confirms the User's consent to such amendments.
