N.A. Tsupikova, Associate Professor at the Water Bioresources and Aquaculture Department of FSBEI HE “KSTU”, participated as a guest expert in the All-Russian Youth Environmental Forum Ecosystem. Protected Territory.

The forum has been held annually since 2022 on the instructions of the President of Russia, V.V. Putin, and is the most important youth environmental event in Russia. Over the years, the forum has become a platform for experts to discuss issues relating to the country’s environmental well-being, sustainable development, and cooperation between civil society, business and the state in addressing environmental and economic challenges, prioritising the interests of children and young people.

The event took place in the Kamchatka Krai during the first ten days of July. It was organised by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Government of the Kamchatka Krai.

The forum brought together over 600 young scientists, activists and specialists from 89 regions of the Russian Federation and from abroad, and its programme covered key tracks on ecotechnologies, ecotourism and environmental education.

As part of the youth session on the tracks Ecotechnologies, Ecotourism and Environmental Education, our lecturer N.A. Tsupikova shared her academic and practical experience with participants, helping them to tackle pressing environmental challenges.

The expert level of KSTU lecturers participating in such events is a source of immense pride!
