Students from the Institute of Digital Technologies visited the IT company Bitrix 24
On 10 September, third-year students from the Department of Applied Informatics at the Institute of Digital Technologies went on a tour of the region’s largest IT company.
During the tour, the students learnt about working conditions at the company and visited the conference room, staff workspaces, and areas for rest and relaxation. The students were shown how work processes are organised in a modern technology company and were informed about employment prospects. A representative from the HR department, L. Antonenko, gave a short talk, during which the students learnt that the company had been founded in 1998 and currently employs over 1,000 people. The company’s specialists develop modern corporate information systems.
The management of the IT company actively collaborates with KSTU. Its representatives participate annually in the State Examination Commission (SEC), assess students’ final qualification projects and deliver online training in sought-after IT professions.
In particular, Bitrix24//University is currently accepting applications for the new intake of its Web Developer course. The course covers the specifics of website development, from layout and front-end to back-end and complex architecture. The training is free of charge, and upon completion of the course, the company offers employment within its team.
The course starts on 2 October.
