The Department of Management at the Institute of Industry-Based Economics and Management hosted final qualifying paper defences
From 23 to 25 June, the Department of Management at the Institute of Industry-Based Economics and Management hosted final qualifying paper defences for the Management programme at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. This significant event marked the culmination of the students’ studies and demonstrated the high standard of training achieved by the future managers.
This year, the topics of the presented research projects covered a wide range of current issues. They encompassed not only contemporary regional business—strategic management, the digital transformation of companies, and improving the efficiency of marketing and production processes—but also questions of improving management in various sectors and fields across a number of African countries.
We should particularly mention those Master’s students who, in their theses, emphasised the practical applicability of their research by using data from the university’s partner enterprises. All master's theses contained elements of scientific novelty, which served as the basis for recommendations for admission to postgraduate programmes.
