The Head of the Food Technology Department presented new developments from pollock

On 17 September, I. M. Titova, Head of the Food Technology Department at KSTU, participated in a round-table discussion entitled Fish in the Age of Globalisation: Economics and Consumption – From Price to Value. The event took place as part of the Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia in St. Petersburg.

Inna Markovna discussed issues relating to the pricing of fish products in Russia and on the global market with leading experts. Participants analysed the intensifying competition for protein sources.

During the event, the KSTU lecturer spoke about aspects that reveal the true value of fish for consumers. She also clearly demonstrated the potential for replacing fish with other sources of protein. In conclusion, Inna Markovna presented new products made from pollock.

The forum features events relating not only to the catch and farming of aquatic biological resources but also to the promotion of new products.
