A delegation from KSTU attended the seminar What Makes an Impact
From 21 to 22 August, the Youth Centre hosted a seminar for the media What Makes an Impact.
The programme featured expert lectures and practical workshops. Participants had the opportunity to learn new things, try out tools in practice and exchange experiences with colleagues in the media and media sphere, organised by the SHUM Youth Media Development Centre.
Key topics of discussion included:
- - finding compelling local stories and working with sources;
- - journalistic ethics and legal risks;
- - the transformation of content formats (working with interviews, news, and podcasts);
- - the balance between freedom of speech and responsibility.
Among the participants from the multidisciplinary educational institution KSTU were M.A. Pylenok, a senior lecturer from the department, students Varvara Cherepanova and Dmitry Pylenok.
