A postgraduate student from KSTU successfully defended her thesis
On 24 September, a successful defence of a PhD thesis in the scientific speciality Food Systems took place at the Dissertation Council.
O.I. Levicheva, a graduate of the postgraduate programme at the Process Equipment Engineering Department, presented her thesis. She spoke on the topic Improving the Pipeline Transportation Process for Processed Cheese. Her academic supervisor was Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor V.A. Naumov.
Positive reviews of the thesis were provided by the official opponents: T.P. Arsenyeva, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor at ITMO University, and Y.V. Ustinova, Candidate of Engineering Sciences at RSAU – MAA named after K.A. Timiryazev.
Members of the Dissertation Council positively assessed the relevance of the research topic, the scientific novelty and practical significance of the work, the candidate’s qualifications and the extensive scope of the research carried out. The Council noted that the implementation of the results of the work contributes to the development of the theory and practice of processes for the transport of semi-finished processed cheese products.
The food industry can utilise the proposed theoretical and practical solutions to modernise transport systems based on rotary lobe pumps and develop new production lines.
We congratulate the candidate on the successful defence of her thesis and her academic supervisor!
