A team from the Institute of Education at the National Research University Higher School of Economics conducted a study with students from Kaliningrad State Technical University. The study took place as part of the Rediscovering Russia student expedition and focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of society and education.

The participants worked in groups and discussed together the changes already taking place in various spheres of life under the influence of artificial intelligence. Based on their observations, the students identified key trends and outlined possible directions and timeframes for their development. A separate part of the work was devoted to the future of education. The students discussed how the identified trends might change teaching and educational practices.

The expedition team will organise and analyse the gathered materials. They will present the main trends in the development of artificial intelligence, along with the associated opportunities and risks for the future of education, based on the results of this analysis.
