Congratulations from Acting Rector of KSTU A.G. Mnatsakanyan on Russian Science Day
Dear friends! I congratulate you on Russian Science Day!
Science plays a key role in our lives; it makes our world brighter, more comfortable, and more technologically advanced. It helps us understand and solve important social problems, teaches us to think critically and moves humankind forward. Science is one of the key development areas for the university, and this day provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate the importance of scientific achievements and contributions to the development of our university and society as a whole.
Our university has more than twenty scientific directions and schools, many of which date back to the very foundation of the university. We carefully preserve the memory and legacy of world-renowned scientists F.I. Baranov, N.B. Sevostyanov and many others, whose traditions are continued today by new generations of researchers. Thanks to your efforts, perseverance and dedication to your work, we are opening new horizons, developing technologies and shaping the image of our university as a leading research centre.
The university is actively developing its material and technical base, creating scientific and educational centres, resource centres and scientific laboratories, which allows us to conduct research at a very high level. The university operates four dissertation councils and publishes scientific journals, including three on the White List. The results of our scientists' research are presented in highly rated scientific journals and at national and international scientific forums.
Student science is actively developing. Postgraduate students and undergraduates at the university are winners of presidential scholarships and named scholarship competitions and represent our university at leading Russian and international scientific events. Only in 2025, we had 13 winners of the University Start-up competition.
On this day, I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone who has dedicated their lives to science.
I wish you good health, success in your scientific activities, new discoveries, interesting ideas and the implementation of all your ambitious projects!
