Congratulatory message from A.G. Mnatsakanyan, Acting Rector of KSTU, on Fisherman's Day
Dear members of the fishing industry!
Dear lecturers, staff, students, cadets, graduates and veterans of KSTU!
On behalf of Kaliningrad State Technical University and on my behalf, I would like to sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday — Fisherman’s Day!
This celebration holds special significance for the Kaliningrad Region and our university. The history of KSTU is inseparably linked to the sea and the fisheries complex. For many years, the university has been contributing substantially to developing the human resources of the fisheries sector and related industries, training professionals who are in demand in the fishing fleet, processing, aquaculture, management, logistics, and scientific and educational activities.
Fisherman’s Day is a celebration dedicated to people of strong character, high responsibility and loyalty to their chosen profession. Behind every voyage, every production result and every achievement in the industry lie hard work, experience, discipline, teamwork and a deep respect for the sea. The fishing industry has always demanded not only professional knowledge from its people, but also courage, endurance, reliability and dedication to the profession.
Today, we extend special words of gratitude to the industry’s veterans, teaching staff, mentors, and all those who preserve and pass on the best maritime and labour traditions to the younger generation. Thanks to you, the continuity between generations is maintained, professional and maritime dynasties are strengthened, and the link between education, science and industry is developed.
We are proud of KSTU’s graduates, who work hard for the benefit of the Kaliningrad Region and the entire country, strengthening the university’s reputation and contributing significantly to the development of the fishing industry in Russia and the region.
I wish you all excellent health, prosperity, reliable colleagues, stability, new professional achievements and confidence in the future. May your work always be in demand and duly appreciated, and may your love for the sea and your profession pass on to new generations.
Happy holiday!
