Representatives from KSTU attended a session of the Dubai BRICS Investment Forum
Postgraduate student Sergey Pokasov and KSTU Professor A.V. Ivanov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, attended an offsite session of the Dubai BRICS Investment Forum in the Kaliningrad Region.
They proposed considering the Kaliningrad Region a demonstration site for a local bioeconomy for the Russian and BRICS markets. The project involves creating a pilot site with separate collection of organic waste, its processing, and an educational module.
A key outcome of the session was the decision by the BRICS House organisation to open a representative office in Kaliningrad. This will strengthen inter-regional and international ties, as well as provide additional support tools for entrepreneurs.
