Congratulatory message from A.G. Mnatsakanyan, Acting Rector of KSTU, on National Unity Day
Dear friends!

I wish you a happy National Unity Day!

Over 400 years ago, a people’s militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow, the capital of the Russian state, from the invading forces, bringing the Time of Troubles in our country’s history to a close.

This striking example of the courage and heroism of our ancestors shows us that Russia’s strength lies in the unity of its peoples. Only by acting together can we face the internal and external challenges that our times present to us.

Our university, which welcomes students and learners from more than 40 countries, serves as an example of solidarity among representatives of different cultures, acting as a second home for them.

For the staff, students, and cadets of KSTU, unity in achieving common goals, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work together on important tasks aimed at advancing Russia’s scientific and technological leadership, as well as the dynamic development of our country and our beloved university, remain of the utmost importance!

Our compatriots—Russians of different faiths and nationalities—are courageously fighting today for the security and prosperity of our Motherland. At this time, harmony, unity, mutual support, moral values and cooperation are more important than ever.

Happy National Unity Day, dear students, cadets, lecturers, staff and alumni! I wish you all strong maritime health, happiness, success, victory and peace!

Acting Rector of KSTU, A.G. Mnatsakanyan
