Dear veterans!

Dear lecturers, staff, students and graduates of KSTU!

On behalf of Kaliningrad State Technical University and from me personally, I warmly congratulate you on this great holiday—Victory Day!

9 May is a special date in our country’s history. It is a day of remembrance, pride and deep gratitude to the generation of victors who, at the cost of incredible courage, fortitude and self-sacrifice, defended freedom and a peaceful future for our Motherland.

We bow our heads in respect for the heroic deeds of the front-line soldiers, the homefront workers, and all those who endured the harsh trials of wartime and contributed to the Great Victory. Their heroism, strength of spirit, and devotion to the Fatherland will forever remain a moral compass for us and an example of true service to our country.

It is particularly important for our university to preserve historical memory, pass it on to the younger generation, and foster respect for the feats of the defenders of the Motherland and a sense of responsibility for the future. The memory of Victory unites us, reminding us of the value of peace and of how important it is to preserve harmony, dignity and the continuity of generations.

I wish our veterans good health, care and many years of life. To all lecturers, staff, students and graduates — peace, prosperity, confidence in the future and new achievements in the name of our country’s development.

Happy holiday! Congratulations on the Great Victory Day!
