Graduation ceremonies began at the BFFSA
On 4 July, a graduation ceremony was held at the Academy's club to award diplomas to full-time bachelor's and master’s degree students specialising in Technosphere Safety.
On this day, 25 graduates joined the ranks of qualified specialists in the field of technosphere safety. The graduates demonstrated outstanding results in their studies and research activities—11 of them received diplomas with distinction, confirming the quality of the educational programme at the department.
A.V. Gruntov, Head of the Academy, opened the ceremony and, in his welcoming address, highlighted the importance of the profession chosen by the graduates. He proudly presented the diplomas to the graduates and invited all bachelor’s degree holders to continue their studies at the master’s level, and master’s degree holders to pursue postgraduate studies.
N.R. Akhmedova, Head of the Technosphere Safety and Environmental Engineering Department, joined in the congratulations. She warmly thanked the graduates for their years of collaboration and noted that each graduate had followed their own path, filled with both challenges and joys. The Head of the Department urged the graduates to believe in themselves and never stop striving for more.
T.S. Stankevich, Head of the Master’s Programme and Associate Professor in the Protection in Emergency Situations section, who had accompanied the students every step of the way from their first lecture to the defence of their final qualification theses, also expressed her congratulations. She was confident that the professional knowledge gained during their studies would prove useful and essential for the graduates’ future career development.
In their response, the graduates expressed warm words of gratitude to the academy’s administration, the Maritime Institute and the teaching staff. They expressed their sincere thanks for the efforts, patience and support shown by their lecturers throughout their studies.
