On June 31, KSTU and the Center for Engineering Technologies and Simulation (CETS) Exponenta signed an agreement in the main academic building, which will facilitate the development of joint projects in cutting-edge technical and technological developments.

O.G. Ogij, the university’s First Vice-Rector, and D.V. Kartavtsev, the Commercial Director of the Center for Engineering Technologies and Simulation Exponenta, signed the joint document.

At the start of the event, Oksana Gennadievna told the guests of the region’s leading technical university about the specific features of the organisation of the teaching process, the prospects for modernising the educational and material resources, and the innovation spaces at KSTU. She also noted that new areas of cooperation with Exponenta would contribute to the implementation of the university’s strategy for developing youth research initiatives and its programme to promote technological entrepreneurship.

Meanwhile, D.V. Kartavtsev, Commercial Director of Center for Engineering Technologies and Simulation Exponenta, stated that the company is actively developing partnerships with the country’s leading educational institutions. The introduction of national software is an important step towards technological independence. With the help of software developed by the CETS Exponenta, students will be able to work with modern tools and solve practical problems during their studies.

This was followed by a signing ceremony, the exchange of agreements and a group photograph.

Afterwards, the First Vice-Rector of KSTU led a tour of the university, during which she showed the guests the new student spaces: the Sea recreation area, a platform with a training and production robot, youth experimental laboratories and a start-up studio in the recently opened Center for New Opportunities at KSTU, where students passionate about science will be able to implement their creative ambitions.
