KSTU graduates received postgraduate diplomas
The final assessment of postgraduate students marked the completion of their training programmes for scientific and academic staff at the postgraduate level. At the end of September, during extended departmental meetings, the young researchers presented their theses and received valuable feedback and advice from experts.
Since they passed the final assessment successfully, the university presented certificates of completion of their postgraduate studies to 13 postgraduate students. In a ceremonial setting at the university’s Scientific and Technical Council, the Vice-Rector for Research, N.A. Kostrikova, and the Head of the Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department, N.Yu. Klyuchko, congratulated the young scientists, highlighting their potential for the advancement of science and education. Indeed, graduates A.V. Kachanova, K.V. Korotkikh, O.I. Levicheva and Y.S. Pivovarova are now lecturers in various departments and staff members of the university’s administrative units and plan to continue their careers at the university.
For postgraduate students, obtaining a postgraduate degree certificate does not signify the conclusion of their academic journey. The main thing for them is to defend their theses before the dissertation council and receive the degree of Candidate of Sciences.
O.I. Levicheva became the first 2026 graduate to successfully defend her thesis before the Dissertation Council D37.2.007.03 on September 24, and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Engineering Sciences.
We wish the remaining graduates every success in following their colleague's example: do not settle for what you have achieved so far, successfully complete your theses and defend them in the near future.
May you find academic inspiration, persistence, and receive your Candidate of Sciences degree as soon as possible!
