KSTU prepares a base for shipbuilding engineering classes
Under the agreement with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated 21 April 2025, No. 075-15-2025-302, FSBEI HE Kaliningrad State Technical University is actively preparing to create shipbuilding engineering classes.
Twelve schools and four companies from the Kaliningrad Region and Kamchatka Krai have become partners in the university's project.
Currently, the university is completing the development of educational case studies and procuring the teaching and laboratory equipment necessary for the high-quality implementation of the project.
Direct work with schoolchildren will start on 15 September 2025, with a planned number of engineering class students of at least 220.
On August 20, as part of the August pedagogical conference, an interregional roundtable Shipbuilding Classes: Strategic Development Directions and Innovative Mechanisms for Implementing Initiatives in the Context of Regional Economic Challenges will be held at the university's Boiling Point.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Education of the Kaliningrad Region and Kaliningrad State Technical University.
