Professor O.V. Ageev became a laureate of the prestigious All-Russian competition
Oleg Vyacheslavovich Ageev, Doctor of Engineering Sciences and Professor in the Department of Process Equipment Engineering, received the title of Laureate at the All-Russian Competition named after Ivan Fedorov. He was presented with a table medal and a laureate’s badge.
The Russian Academy of Engineering (RAE) and the Association of Technical Universities organise the competition to showcase achievements in science, technology, and education, support the creative activities of scientists and specialists, and spread information about the best authors of technical literature.
Professor O.V. Ageev and his co-author, N.V. Samoilova, received this award for their scientific monograph Scientific and Theoretical Principles of Resource-Saving Primary Fish Processing, published by Kaliningrad State Technical University in 2025.
The monograph presents the results of research into the rheological properties of fish and develops mathematical models of rotational and vibratory cutting processes for food materials. It is possible to calculate the resistance forces acting on the equipment's working parts and develop more efficient, resource-saving technologies for the primary processing of fish raw materials, based on the theoretical and experimental data obtained. The publication is intended for researchers and design engineers in the fishing industry, as well as lecturers, postgraduate students and undergraduates at technical universities.
Awarding the scientific tandem of O.V. Ageev and N.V. Samoilova the title of laureates in the All-Russian Competition is the evidence of the high academic standard of the research conducted at the university and their recognition at the national level.
