The scientific section at the Institute of Industry-Based Economics and Management focused on marketing, logistics and commercial activities in the region
On 20 April, the Institute of Industry-Based Economics and Management hosted a session of the Issues of Marketing, Logistics and Commercial Activities in Regional Economic Sectors section as part of the annual inter-university student research conference Science Days. The participants presented 10 research papers on the theoretical and practical aspects of marketing activities for enterprises operating in the regional economy.
Works of the master’s students, from group 23-Management, attracted particular interest: Victoria Sidorova's on the theoretical and applied aspects of assessing consumer attitudes towards an organisation, Alina Levina's on trends in the development of the bakery products market in the Kaliningrad region, and Bogdan Shkred's on the influence of market conditions on the development of the furniture industry in the region.
We would particularly like to point out the high standard of the presentations given by the second-year bachelor's students, Elizaveta Maleina, Daria Imkhovik, and Alina Bagdasaryan.
The jury members would like to thank all participants and sincerely hope that the papers presented will serve as a solid foundation for the authors’ further academic research and their successful careers in the fields of marketing and logistics.
