A delegation from KSTU laid flowers at a ceremony marking the anniversary of the capture of Königsberg
An official wreath-laying ceremony took place today at the memorial to 1,200 Guardsmen in Kaliningrad. The ceremony marked the 81st anniversary of the capture of Königsberg.
A delegation from the multidisciplinary educational institution KSTU, led by the Acting Rector of the University, A.G. Mnatsakanyan, joined the general procession of regional organisations to honour the memory of the heroes.
Dozens of students and cadets, along with the university’s administration, lecturers and staff, participated in the memorial event.
They laid flowers and took a traditional commemorative photograph.
