Students of the Technosphere Safety training direction successfully presented their project to the jury members of the case championship Labour Safety Management System as an Effective Tool for Retaining Human Resource Potential.

The defence took place on October 10 as part of the XI All-Russian Labour Safety Week in Sochi. The Risk Busters team included V. Chernova, B. Zhirnov, D. Mikhailov, and D. Borisova. They presented the Safe Team project — a comprehensive programme to modernise the occupational safety management system, combining organisational, personnel, and digital solutions, including a platform for communication and feedback.

The project grew out of the initiative‑driven research work Comprehensive Assessment and Management of Technosphere Risk Reduction, carried out at the Technosphere Safety and Environmental Engineering Department. As part of the study, students examined the most effective methods for workplace safety in large Russian companies, including businesses in the Kaliningrad Region.

Based on the results of the defence, the team from KSTU took second place. For the second consecutive year, Risk Busters is among the winners of the prestigious case championship.

A subsidy from the federal budget enabled higher education institutions to make the trip possible by implementing measures to support student scientific societies.
