KSTU hosted the final defence of projects by students of shipbuilding classes
On 19 November, the assembly hall of KSTU hosted the in-person defence of a passenger ship project for local routes in Kaliningrad: from Pregolsky to Rodniki.
Ten teams from ten general education organisations developed ship designs in a brainstorming format. The staff of the Scientific and Educational Centre of Shipbuilding, Maritime Infrastructure and Equipment at KSTU assisted them in this work. The projects were developed according to the suggested technical specifications.
A jury, which determined the list of the finalist teams, evaluated the competition entries. The five teams that made it to the final spent several days refining their projects. The face-to-face presentation and defence of the final projects took place on 19 November.
Congratulations to the winners: Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution Kaliningrad Maritime Lyceum - 1st place; Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution Lyceum No. 18 - 2nd place; Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution Secondary School No. 33 - 3rd place.
