Nutrition. A Look into the Future — a scientific conference dedicated to the Day of Russian Science—was held. It was attended by 1st and 2nd year master's students of the Food Technology Department, the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Food Systems.

In their reports, the speakers touched upon promising directions for scientific research in the food industry. The following carried out works aroused the greatest interest: on the use of secondary dairy raw materials in the production of fermented milk products (E.D. Batukhtina (group 23, Animal-Based Food Products), supervisor Candidate of Engineering Sciences, O.V. Anistratova); on the use of domesticated reindeer meat in the production of sausages (A.A. Gor (group 22, Animal-Based Food Products), supervisor Candidate of Engineering Sciences, O.N. Anokhina); on the application of low-temperature salting technology in the production of preserves from West Pacific sardines (Ivasi) (E.R. Poddubnaya (group 22, Animal-Based Food Products), supervisor Candidate of Engineering Sciences, M.P. Belova); on the development of technologies and recipes of caviar fish products from substandard raw materials with collagen-containing additive (M.V. Vasilieva (group 22, Animal-Based Food Products), Candidate of Engineering Sciences, O.P. Chernega, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, V.I. Vorobiev).

The participants held a discussion of the scientific reports of the master's students in a creative and business atmosphere.
