On February 23, an international competition of national dishes "International cuisine" was held on the campus of KSTU.

The competition was attended by six teams from the Russian Federation, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Tunisian Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The prize for the best presentation of the dish went to the Russian team: "Bread Swan" showed both the rich imagination and the culinary talent of the team members - Mark Bychkov, Maxim Evlashov and Georgiy Belyakov.

The most difficult recipe proved to be couscous with a sauce of meat stewed with spices for 8 hours by a Tunisia team member Rassas Mohamed Salah.
A team of Uzbekistan (Ilgiz Sadykov, Malika Umarova and Rustabek Khakimjonov) were given a prize for the best serving and table decoration.

Cafriel from the Guinea-Bissau team (Irina Mane Pereira, Mango Niviana Fernando and Barbosa Lopes Cabral Yamara Zhidia) was recognized as the most original dish.
Alshayer Navras from the Syrian Arab Republic received the award for the simplest and most delicious dish: kapse from rice with chicken.

A team from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Nguyen Trung Hieu, Duong Van Hieu and Vo Anh Tuan) were awarded a prize for the best looking dish.
